Quilted Dragon’s Policies effective 1.1.2021

The Quilted Dragon has been offering quality quilting fabrics, books, patterns and supplies online/in retail shop since 2000. We ship only throughout the United States and APO/FPO addresses only at this time. These policies may change without notice.

Add our email victoria@quilteddragon.com to your preferred senders list to avoid emails going to your Spam folder.  If you sign up for our newsletter, that email will be  thequilteddragonpahrump@gmail.com.

Payment method – STRIPE
We use STRIPE exclusively for Credit Card payments online.  STRIPE does not keep any of your information after the payment has been funded by your credit card company. In most situations you will not automatically be charged until order is confirmed and shipped – a temporary hold will be put on your card for the amount based upon the shopping cart total until order is confirmed and fulfilled. In many cases your total will be less that amount shown (shipping is less or we apply a current coupon) and we will note that when your order is confirmed.

Curb-side or pickup in shop
All orders can be picked up at our shop if desired, Select Local Pickup during checkout. All specials and sale prices will be applied to all pickup orders and your total charged on your card will be reduced. An email will be sent when order is ready for pickup and a time can be arranged for pickup and/or additional shopping when appointments are available.  The shop does not have regular hours at this time until further notice, but appointments can be made in advance for shopping/browsing – 7 days a week 6am to 6pm as available.  Call (leave a message) or text 775-751-9033

General Shipping Information

US Shipping only at this time

Occasionally we will travel to be a vendor/attend quilt shows and may be away from the shop for up to 5 days.  We will contact you that we have received your order, then fufill and ship out as soon as we return to the shop.  Your credit card will NOT be charged until the order ships; thanks for being patient and understanding as we are a small family business.

Currently, there are many delays with deliveries of US Mail. These delays vary from a few days to a few weeks and we have no control or knowledge of any specific delay you may encounter unless we hear about it from you. We recommend highly that if you suspect a delay in receiving your order or receive a “Delivered” status when tracking, contact your carrier immediately. Leave a message for them in your mail box if needed. When your order ships you will receive a tracking # via email from either USPS or PIRATESHIP.  Please contact us if any non-delivery issues arise.

Our domestic shipping rates are based on your order total at checkout.  If shipping is less than quoted by your value of order, your total will reflect the lesser amount when your card is charged.  Although very rare, additional charges for shipping may apply if an order exceeds either the weight or size limitations set by USPS. We will contact you should this be an issue.

In most cases shipping is via US Postal Service 1st Class, tracked and Priority Mail, tracked and insured. We occasionally ship via UPS and FEDEX depending on items ordered and the most economical way to ship.

How often do we ship?

We ship orders Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays. We know you are anxious to receive your order as quickly as possible, so if we receive your order early in the day, we will do our best to ship it out to you on the same business day. If we receive the order later in the day, we will ship it out to you on the next business day when possible. However, if shipping is delayed due to reasons beyond our control that we are aware of, we will contact you.

Sales Tax

At this time, only orders placed and shipped within the state of Nevada will have destination address sales tax charged and collected.

If you can’t find a particular fabric or item online, feel free to send us an e-mail or text a picture! It may be in our retail shop or warehouse and not online yet.

Privacy Statement

The Quilted Dragon is concerned about your privacy. We do not sell email addresses or names to anyone, and promises to only send you our informative newsletter about events, classes, sales and new products.

Returns

We are committed to your satisfaction. All orders are inspected before shipping. In the case of damaged goods or packing error please contact us as soon as possible. Arrangements will be worked out to return the merchandise, send you the missing item or refund you.

Changed your mind and don’t want the merchandise? Return an item within 30 days. Notify us that you will be returning an item(s) so that we can keep an eye out for your return. Please note, cut yardage and copyrighted materials (books and patterns) cannot be returned. Items must be in saleable condition. All returns must be in the original condition and packaging. Customer pays for return shipping. Your credit card will be credited for the cost of the returned item only and within 24 – 48 hours once it is received by us.
